Unigloves Announces The Purchase Of Derma Shield
Hand protection manufacturer Unigloves has announced that it has purchased the Derma Shield business, diversifying to include a broader range of hand and arm protection products and services in line with its growth strategy.
The move will see Unigloves complementing its market-leading industrial and disposable gloves, with Derma Shield's protective skincare system, following a successful commercial partnership with Derma Shield over the last 18 months.
As part of the purchase agreement, former Derma Shield MD Peter Friswell will work with the Unigloves team over the next three years, utilising his many years of experience to support both Derma Shield and Unigloves customers.
On announcing the purchase, Unigloves' UK Managing Director Chris Wahlers said: "I'm absolutely delighted that we now have the Derma Shield range in our portfolio and look forward to building on this further with Peter as we continue to grow the Derma Shield name in the market.
