Why sustainability is not a side issue
For us, real protection does not end with the glove. It begins with the way we act: the resources we use, how we produce, the partners we choose, how we treat people and the responsibility we take for the environment, society and future generations.
Our vision is clear! We will become the world’s most responsible glove manufacturer.
We are committed to protecting hands, people and the environment.
We are convinced that ...
real hand protection goes beyond the product itself. Anyone who protects hands also carries responsibility for the people who use our gloves, for the conditions under which they are made, and for the environment whose resources we rely on.
We are proud that ...
we are committed to a more sustainable future. With UNIGLOVES IMPACT, we show in concrete terms how we take responsibility: through targeted measures, transparent data, strong partnerships, social commitment and innovations that bring safety, quality and sustainability together
We do the right thing ...
we develop relationships that make a positive difference in our stakeholders’ lives. We act with integrity and honesty and focus on putting ourselves in the shoes of others. We don’t always get it right first time, but we always make it right.
Acting consciously
Our strategy for making a sustainable impact.
For us, acting consciously means understanding responsibility not as a single measure, but as a system: in the way we develop, source, produce and assess products, and in how we work together
We have structured our sustainability strategy around three central fields of action:
- ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
Avoid waste. Conserve resources.
Reduce environmental impact.
- CLIMATE CHANGE
Reducing greenhouse gas emissions,
to mitigate the effects of climate change.
- ENABLING OTHERS
Building relationships and an environment
where communities thrive and enhance stakeholders’ lives

WHAT WE ACTUALLY WANT
MINIMISE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ACTING SUSTAINABLY.
REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT- This is a key part of how we operate responsibly.
- We design our products and processes to minimise waste and use resources more responsibly across the entire value chain, from raw materials and packaging to our operational processes.
- For us, this is not about a single solution. It is about continuously identifying opportunities to use resources more efficiently, reduce waste and make better choices that deliver meaningful environmental benefits.
- Our environmental impact is shaped by the choices we make throughout the product journey. From how we use water and select materials to the life-cycle impacts we assess and the circular solutions we explore, we continually look for ways to reduce our footprint and use resources more responsibly.
> This includes a strong focus on traceability and responsible sourcing. Environmental responsibility begins long before a product reaches the customer, which is why understanding the origin, processing, and movement of materials through the supply chain is essential to making informed and responsible decisions.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
WE USE WATER RESPONSIBLY!
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
MANUFACTURING DIVISION
- We manufacture ourselves and therefore understand the importance of water in the production of our products. Where production takes place, the way water is managed affects not only processes and resources, but also the immediate environment of the people living nearby.
- Our manufacturing facilities discharged 874,706 m³ of wastewater in FY25, a 1.6% year-on-year decrease from 889,208 m³ in FY24. In comparison to FY24, the average wastewater discharge per 1,000 pieces of gloves remained constant at 0.59 m³ in FY25, which can be attributed to the comparable quantity and variety of gloves produced in both financial years.
As a European business, our goal is to work closer with our supply partners to measure, monitor and reduce water consumption, while improving water stewardship and wastewater management. Our goal is to minimise our impact on local water resources and contribute to the long-term health of the communities and ecosystems in which we operate.
EUROPEAN DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
- Water use in our offices may be lower than in manufacturing, but it is still part of our wider responsibility. Across our European office locations, we focus on using water consciously in everyday operations — from sanitary facilities and kitchens to cleaning routines and general workplace practices.
- Where possible, we aim to reduce unnecessary consumption through more efficient fixtures, responsible maintenance, awareness among employees and improved monitoring of office-related water use.
- This helps us strengthen a culture of resource awareness across our organisation — not only where products are made, but also where everyday decisions shape how responsibly we operate.
- We are continuously working to reduce our total water consumption to a sustainable level. Our UK business has already seen a reduction of 15% in FY25, when compared with FY24. Of course, our wider European business is part of this journey too.
> This is how we protect a resource that is essential for production, the environment and people’s lives.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
RENEWABLE MATERIAL BY NATURE
RELIABLE GLOVES BY DESIGN
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
NATURAL RUBBER
IS WHERE OUR STORY
BEGAN ...- and it remains one of the key materials within our product portfolio
- As a naturally derived and renewable resource, it plays an important role in our approach to responsible material selection. Latex milk is not from a laboratory or factory; it comes straight from nature and only needs sunlight and water to be made, making it a unique material within our product range.
- Natural materials can offer valuable opportunities when origin, traceability and sourcing practices are carefully managed. That is why we continue to strengthen transparency across our natural rubber supply chain and use data to better understand the environmental impacts of our material choices.
- By improving visibility across the supply chain, we can make more informed decisions about sourcing and better understand the environmental footprint of the materials we use.
> Our Premium Latex Disposable Gloves demonstrate how a naturally derived material can deliver exceptional comfort, protection and performance while supporting our commitment to responsible sourcing.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
WE USE ALTERNATIVE MATERIALS
WITHOUT COMPROMISING PROTECTION
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
WE ALWAYS ASSESS MORE SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS ...
- with the aim of reliably maintaining protection, quality and functionality.
- Where it makes sense, we reduce resource-intensive virgin raw materials, use recycled materials or further develop alternative material approaches.
- One example is the integration of recycled polyester material into our R-PET products, helping us significantly reduce the environmental impact of these gloves after use.
- Since launching products made out of alternative materials like Recycled PET, we have replaced approximately 1.116 kg PET-of virgin plastic with recycled PET, demonstrating how material innovation can contribute to more resource-efficient product design.
> Our direction remains clear – Use materials more responsibly without weakening protection

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
SINGLE-USE, BUT WITH PERSPECTIVES
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
WE CONSIDER
THE FULL LIFE CYCLE ...- of single-use gloves and how their impact extends beyond use.
- Our BioTouch range incorporates technology designed to accelerate biodegradation in biologically active landfill environments.
- Independent testing has shown that BioTouch nitrile gloves achieve 81% biodegradation within 490 days under these conditions. While waste reduction and responsible disposal remain priorities, BioTouch demonstrates how innovation can support better environmental outcomes at the end of a product's life.
- > WE TAKE HAND PROTECTION FURTHER – FUNCTIONAL, RESPONSIBLE AND FUTURE-FOCUSED <
> By exploring new solutions, we continue to reduce environmental impact without compromising on protection or performance.

WE ARE TESTING & DEVELOPING:
- INNOVATIVE MANUFACTURING PROCESSES ...
- to further optimise resource use,and expand recycling and reprocessing approaches.
- MARKET-READY ...
- and economically viable end-of-life treatments that can be transferred into a circular system.
- PRODUCT OPTIMISATIONS ...
- designed to further reduce the impact of our products after disposal — particularly by avoiding materials of concern.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
WHAT IF… SINGLE-USE GLOVES
DON’T HAVE TO REMAIN WASTE?
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
WE ARE WORKING
WITH iCAST- the Innovation Centre for Applied Sustainable Technologies, to explore alternative solutions for the life cycle of nitrile glove waste.
- > THE IDEA:
COULD SINGLE-USE NITRILE GLOVES
BE RECYCLED IN THE FUTURE? < - ...
> Instead of incineration or landfill disposal, we are exploring ways to chemically recycle nitrile gloves, recover valuable components and ultimately reuse them as a usable raw material.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
iCAST – OUR PARTNER OF CHOICE TO FINALY RECYCLE GLOVES
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
iCAST ...
- brings together industry, science and technological expertise.
- The collaboration gives us access to a strong network of research institutions, innovation organisations and technology partners — helping us bring sustainable solutions into practical application more quickly.
- Through our collaboration with iCAST we have invested in pHD research to help us produce not just an idea, but a potential route to circular solutions for the world of tomorrow.
THE CHALLENGE FACING THE PPE INDUSTRY
- SINGLE-USE NITRILE GLOVES ARE USED EVERY DAY IN HEALTHCARE, LABORATORIES AND INDUSTRY.
- After use, however, they generally end up in landfill or are incinerated, as they cannot currently be recycled using conventional methods.
- > THIS PRESENTS THE INDUSTRY
WITH A SIGNIFICANT CHALLENGE
IN TERMS OF WASTE
MANAGEMENT & SUSTAINABILITY <
- __________________
WHAT IF ...- we could reverse-engineer a glove? iCAST investigated whether a chemical recycling process could break down the nitrile rubber used in single-use nitrile gloves into its constituent parts.
- The aim was not only to break down the material, but also to preserve the key chemical structures that give nitrile rubber its high performance in the first place.
> THE RESULTS WERE PROMISING- The team succeeded in breaking nitrile gloves down into smaller molecules without losing the essential properties that define the material.
- In other words, rather than ending up as waste, these materials could in future be recovered and used to manufacture new rubber products with comparable performance.
> WHAT COULD THIS MEAN FOR THE FUTURE?
- Reducing glove waste
- Recovering valuable raw materials
- Reducing environmental impact
- A potential pathway towards a circular economy in the PPE sector
> INVESTING IN THE NEXT STAGE OF INNOVATION
- We have proven that the concept works – but there is still much to explore before it can be applied on a larger scale.
- __________________
> THAT IS WHY we are now funding a dedicated PhD project to advance the next phase of research.
> THE FOCUS is on understanding how this process could work in practice – from manufacturing and recycling infrastructure to costs and scalability.
> This brings us another step closer to a circular future for nitrile gloves.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
TRACEABILITY BEGINS AT THE SOURCE
MINIMISING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
THE EU REGULATION
ON DEFORESTATION-FREE PRODUCTS (EUDR) ...- reflects a growing recognition that deforestation contributes to climate change, biodiversity loss and the degradation of natural ecosystems.
- By introducing stronger requirements for traceability, due diligence and supply-chain transparency, the regulation aims to ensure that specific commodities and derived products placed on the EU market are not linked to recent deforestation.
- For UNIGLOVES, this is particularly relevant in the context of natural rubber and latex-based products. As a natural raw material sourced through global supply chains, greater visibility into origin, sourcing practices and supply-chain connections is becoming increasingly important.
- We aim to ensure that the relevant raw materials and products we use comply with the requirements of the EU-Regulation on deforestation-free products ahead of the regulation's implementation. To achieve this, we consistently integrate traceability, due diligence obligations and the required evidence into our procurement and compliance processes.
> This creates transparency from the origin of the raw material through to the finished product – and makes origin, evidence and supply chains traceable.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY WANT
REDUCING OUR
GREENHOUSEGAS
EMISSIONS!
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
SAFETY IS THE FOUNDATION
OF EVERYTHING WE DO.- That commitment extends beyond our products to how we manage our impact on the climate and work to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- > A STABLE CLIMATE
SUPPORTS HEALTHY COMMUNITIES, RELIABLE WATER RESOURCES, PRODUCTIVE AGRICULTURE, THRIVING ECOSYSTEMS AND COASTAL ENVIRONMENTS. - Protecting these foundations is an important part of securing a sustainable future for people and the environment.
- > TAKING ACTION
ON CLIMATE CHANGE IS AN IMPORTANT PART OF BUILDING A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE. - For us, this means reducing our emissions, improving the efficiency of our operations and helping to protect the well-being of future generations.
1/7
WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
UNDERSTAND EMISSION IMPACT
THEN TAKE
TARGETED ACTION
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
REDUCE EMISSIONS, AT THEIR SOURCE
- Our approach is based on a simple principle: emissions should be reduced wherever possible, at their source.
- To ensure a robust basis for decision-making, our emissions are measured and evaluated in accordance with internationally recognised carbon accounting standards, including the GHG Protocol. This means identifying opportunities across our operations, improving efficiency and continuously reviewing how energy and resources are used.
- OUR GOAL IS TO ACHIEVE NET-ZERO SCOPE 1 & 2 EMISSIONS BY 2035.
To support this ambition, we focus on practical measures that deliver measurable reductions and contribute to long-term decarbonisation. Rather than relying on carbon offsetting, our priority is to avoid emissions where possible and reduce them where they occur.
We believe lasting climate progress is achieved through direct action – improving energy efficiency, increasing renewable electricity use and continuously optimising our operations.
- IT'S THIS ONE GOAL AT THE HEART OF OUR CLIMATE ACTIONS!
We consistently reduce greenhouse gas emissions, supported by a holistic, evidence-based approach.
Starting from 74,000 tonnes of CO₂e in 2025, we plan an interim reduction to 67,000 tonnes of CO₂e and are assessing further measures relating to energy efficiency, electricity procurement and process optimisation.
- This gives us transparency regarding the carbon footprint of our products and enables us to drive long-term, targeted reductions.
> It’s ambitious and you will see responsibility requires clear steps …

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
MEASURE. BENCHMARK.
ASSESS. IMPROVE!
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
OUR MARKETS ARE CHANGING ...
- and so are the expectations of customers, partners, procurement organisations and regulators.
- Across industries, sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor in purchasing decisions, business relationships and long-term competitiveness. Organisations are expected not only to set climate ambitions, but also to demonstrate transparently how they measure, manage and reduce their environmental impact.
- To meet these expectations, we work with trusted partners who help us strengthen our sustainability strategy, improve resilience and support long-term business success.
- By combining robust emissions data, independent assessment and strategic guidance, we can better understand our impact, identify opportunities for improvement and track progress over time.
- Our approach brings together internal data, recognised standards and frameworks, site-level assessments and prioritised actions. This enables us to demonstrate not only what we have achieved so far, but also how we are continuing to improve.
We don't want to simply respond to changing requirements.
We want to help drive a market where sustainable action, transparent data and measurable progress are valued as key indicators of responsible business performance.
> In this way, analysis, guidance and assessment contribute to a safer and more sustainable future. They help us turn ambition into measurable action while giving customers and partners confidence in our approach.

WHAT WE ACTUALLY DO
GREENLY FOR ANALYSIS & CARBON MANAGEMENT
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
GREENLY HELPS US NAVIGATE ...
- our climate transition in a structured and data-driven way.
- The globally established carbon management platform, which is also B Corp certified, supports us in systematically measuring, analysing and reporting greenhouse gas emissions in line with the internationally recognised GHG Protocol and ADEME methodology.
- Greenly's GHG Life Cycle Assessments follow a cradle-to-grave methodology, providing a holistic evaluation of greenhouse gas emissions across the entire product life cycle, including raw material sourcing, manufacturing, transportation, use and end-of-life treatment. This approach enables us to assess emissions across our operations and value chain using a combination of accounting, facility and operational activity data. Around 99% of the emissions data used is based on activity data, supporting a more accurate and representative assessment.
- The methodology covers key emissions sources including purchased goods and services, transportation and distribution, waste, business travel, employee commuting, energy-related activities and operational assets. Detailed calculation procedures and emission factors are documented within the Greenly platform to ensure consistency and transparency.
- By identifying the activities, processes and value-chain stages that contribute most significantly to our carbon footprint, the assessment provides a robust foundation for prioritising reduction opportunities, tracking progress over time and informing future climate action.
> OUR CURRENT

THE B CORP MOVEMENT
PROVIDES DIRECTION FOR CLIMATE ACTION
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
B LAB ENABLES US TO LOOK BEYOND
INDIVIDUAL CLIMATE INITIATIVES …- and understand how climate action connects with the wider way a business is governed, managed and measured.
- Far more than a certification, B Corp is a global movement of companies committed to using business as a force for good. Through the B Impact Assessment, organisations evaluate and improve their impact across Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers, creating a more holistic understanding of responsible business performance.
- For us, this is particularly relevant in the context of climate change. While emissions data helps us understand where emissions occur, the B Corp framework helps us understand how climate action can be embedded into the structures, decisions and behaviours that influence long-term business performance. The framework addresses areas such as climate action, environmental stewardship, stakeholder governance and collective action, encouraging businesses to move from isolated initiatives towards a more integrated approach.
- TURNING CLIMATE AMBITIONS INTO BUSINESS PRACTICE
- The UK part of the UNIGLOVES Group has been B Corp certified since January 2025, achieving an overall B Impact Score of 85 points across Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. The certification reflects a broad commitment to responsible business practices, including the environmental and governance structures that support effective climate action.
- As part of the B Impact Assessment, climate-related achievements and future priorities are reviewed within a wider business context. Existing initiatives include cleaner shipping solutions, solar energy generation, EV schemes, RPET Products and Plastic Bank programmes, as well as climate-related partnerships such as Ecologi. These initiatives illustrate how climate considerations can be embedded into everyday business activities and operational decision-making.
- At the same time, the framework encourages continued progress in supplier engagement, climate action, emissions management and life-cycle (LCA) thinking, helping to embed wider emissions reduction initiatives across the business and shape our climate roadmap while prioritising actions with the greatest long-term impact.
- The UK business is currently preparing for recertification under the updated B Lab standards, with the next recertification planned for 2028. Through this process, B Corp continues to serve as a practical framework for continuous improvement, helping us strengthen our climate strategy and translate ambition into measurable action.
- While the certification currently applies to our UK business, the framework extends far beyond a single legal entity.
> As a European and internationally active organisation, we use the principles, learnings and best practices generated through the B Corp process as guidance for the wider UNIGLOVES Group.
> This provides a common direction for integrating climate considerations into business planning, operational improvement and long-term decision-making across our organisation.

ECOVADIS MAKES PROGRESS VISIBLE
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
ONE OF THE GREATEST STRENGTHS OF ECOVADIS LIES IN …
- its ability to create a common framework between buyers and suppliers. By improving transparency and providing a shared basis for evaluation, the platform supports more consistent sustainability expectations across business relationships and encourages continuous improvement throughout the value chain.
- EcoVadis is an important partner in helping us understand how effectively our sustainability and climate ambitions are translated into business practice. Its internationally recognised rating methodology evaluates company performance across Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement, creating a transparent and comparable view of how sustainability is embedded throughout an organisation.
- With a trusted network spanning more than 180 countries and 230+ industries, EcoVadis provides a globally recognised benchmark that enables us to monitor progress, identify opportunities for improvement and demonstrate our sustainability performance with confidence.
- > TRANSPARENT, CLEAR AND ACTIONABLE
- Climate action does not stop at our own operations. For a company operating across international supply chains, environmental impact is influenced by the materials we source, the suppliers we work with, the products we distribute and the decisions we make throughout the value chain.
- This is where EcoVadis provides particular value. Its scorecards make sustainability performance visible and comparable, helping us understand where climate-related progress is already being achieved, where risks remain and where further action can deliver the greatest long-term impact. Through benchmarking and assessment, the framework provides a clear basis for prioritising future improvements and turning ambition into measurable progress.
- Current initiatives such as cleaner shipping solutions, solar energy generation, EV schemes, RPET Products and the Plastic Bank programme, as well as climate-related partnerships such as Ecologi, can be assessed alongside wider environmental management practices.
- This assessment highlights future opportunities relating to supplier engagement, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions management, life-cycle assessments (LCA) and broader emissions reduction initiatives.
> As an internationally active organisation, we see particular value in the ability to make climate performance more transparent, benchmark it against recognised standards and focus resources where they can create the greatest impact. In this way, EcoVadis becomes more than a rating.
> It provides a practical framework for identifying priorities, guiding decisions and demonstrating progress over time.

WHAT WE ARE WORKING ON
CLIMATE ACTION ACROSS THE VALUE CHAIN
THE COURSE IS SET FOR DECARBONISATION!
FOR US, AND FOR MANY BUSINESSES, ...
- a significant share of climate impact occurs beyond direct operations. Raw materials, manufacturing processes, packaging, transport and supplier practices all influence the overall footprint of a product.
- Expectations around climate action will continue to grow, understanding and managing these value-chain impacts becomes increasingly important. This is particularly relevant in the context of Scope 3 emissions, where supplier engagement, procurement decisions and product requirements can have a significant influence on long-term climate performance.
- A key part of our IMPACT journey is strengthening the framework of processes and partnerships that shape our wider value chain. By progressively integrating climate considerations into supplier strategies, procurement decisions and product requirements, we aim to improve how Scope 3 impacts are understood, managed and addressed over time.
- > CLIMATE CONSIDERATIONS
ARE BECOMING BUSINESS CONSIDERATIONS <
- Our team is driven by the ambition to strengthen the connection between climate responsibility, supplier relationships and business decision-making.
- To support this transition, we are developing a more consistent and data-driven approach to supplier evaluation and decision-making. Greenly, B Corp and EcoVadis each contribute a different perspective, helping us better understand value-chain impacts, establish common priorities and make progress more visible over time. Together, these frameworks and networks support our ambition to integrate climate considerations more systematically into supplier strategies, procurement activities and future product requirements.
- Our ambition is not only to better understand climate-related impacts across the value chain, but also to strengthen collaboration with partners who share similar objectives and are committed to continuous improvement.
> THIS WILL ENABLE US TO:
- Reduce climate-related risks
- Strengthen supply-chain resilience
- Support emissions reduction efforts
- Align suppliers with sustainability expectations
- Improve transparency and traceabilitY
- Create a stronger foundation for long-term climate action
> Over time, this creates greater transparency, supports more informed decisions and helps align business performance with our wider IMPACT ambitions.

RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAINS
SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS
EXTENDING RESPONSIBILITY
EXTENDING RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS ...
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS DOES NOT STOP AT OUR OWN OPERATIONS.
- It also depends on the relationships we build with suppliers, the expectations we share and the way we work together to identify risks, strengthen transparency and improve practices over time.
- Our supply-chain approach is supported by recognised frameworks and networks such as EcoVadis and the B Corp movement. They help us structure the responsibility we already want to take as a business: through clearer expectations, better dialogue and more consistent action across our sourcing relationships.
- A key part of this is creating a more complete and consistent understanding of the organisations we work with. Through our supplier information request, we are collecting and maintaining information across areas such as company profile, partnership approach, product capability, sustainability priorities and LCA data requirements. This helps us better understand supplier capabilities, identify potential social, ethical, environmental and supply-chain risks, and support more informed supplier development over time.
- UNIGLOVES UK is also a member of the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI). While the membership applies to the UK business, our procurement team works across European locations and follows shared methods, processes and expectations for responsible sourcing. Our Supplier Code of Conduct is aligned with the ETI Base Code, helping us communicate clear expectations around labour rights and working conditions across our supplier relationships.
- EcoVadis adds another important layer by making supply-chain sustainability performance more visible and comparable. As we continue to develop our approach, we see strong value in using shared platforms to collaborate more consistently with suppliers, align expectations and identify improvement opportunities together.
> In this way, ETI, EcoVadis, the B Corp mindset and our supplier information process all support the same ambition: building supply-chain relationships that are more transparent, more accountable and better equipped for continuous improvement.
7/16
RESPONSIBLE SUPPLY CHAINS
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING
STARTS WITH CLEAR EXPECTATIONS
EXTENDING RESPONSIBILITY THROUGH BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS ...
RESPONSIBLE SOURCING STARTS LONG BEFORE A PRODUCT IS ORDERED.
- It begins with the kind of relationships we choose to build, the standards we expect from the organisations we work with and the way those standards become part of everyday sourcing decisions.
- For Unigloves, clear expectations are an essential part of responsible partnership. Our product suppliers are asked to commit to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which incorporates the principles of the ETI Base Code and sets out how products and services should be made for Unigloves.
- The Code covers areas such as freely chosen employment, the prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking, labour rights, health and safety, fair working conditions, wages and working hours, equal opportunities, responsible subcontracting, anti-bribery, whistleblowing and care for the environment.
- Behind these standards is a simple belief: product quality and responsible production belong together. Protecting people in the supply chain means looking at how work is organised, how people are treated, whether conditions are safe and whether risks such as modern slavery are actively addressed.
- Our Code of Conduct is therefore more than a document in the supplier process. It gives our procurement and technical teams a clear basis for selecting, reviewing and developing supplier relationships. New suppliers and subcontractors are considered against these expectations, own-brand suppliers can be regularly reviewed, and further checks may be carried out where risk assessments show that closer attention is needed.
- In practice, responsible sourcing depends on understanding where products come from, how suppliers operate, which risks may exist and where additional dialogue or action may be required. Supplier reviews, risk assessments and third-party audits help us build a clearer picture of our supply chain and the standards that support it.
- Our approach is simple: clear expectations create better conversations. Better conversations create stronger relationships. And stronger relationships help us protect quality, people and trust across the supply chain.
> Because responsible sourcing is not just about choosing suppliers. It is about choosing how we do business with them.

- They require structure, transparency and effective collaboration. To support this, we are developing a more consistent approach to gathering supplier information, understanding capabilities and identifying opportunities for mutual value creation.
- Our Unigloves Sustainability Supplier Information Request brings key information into a single, standardised format covering company profile, partnership working, manufacturing capability, product innovation, sustainability, responsible business practices and LCA data. This provides a clearer view of our supplier network, helping us identify both areas of risk and opportunities for innovation, resilience and continuous improvement.
- Responsible business must remain practical. We aim to strengthen sustainability, due diligence and compliance while maintaining the foundations of strong supplier relationships: trust, quality, reliability and commercial resilience. The questionnaire is not about replacing partnership with paperwork. It is a tool to improve information management, reduce duplication and support more informed supplier engagement.
- EcoVadis supports this approach by providing a recognised framework for transparency, supplier engagement and continuous improvement. Its value extends beyond assessment, offering access to a wider network, shared standards and market insights that help make responsible sourcing more connected and effective.
- As we continue to evolve our supply-chain approach, common platforms and recognised frameworks will play an important role in aligning expectations, identifying improvement opportunities and enabling more consistent, transparent collaboration.
> Our approach is not ideological. It is practical. We are building responsible business structures that strengthen long-term trust, resilience and performance because lasting improvement is achieved through shared information, mutual trust and a commitment to progress together.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
KEEPING YOU SAFE BEYOND GLOVES
FOR US, IMPACT IS NOT ONLY SOMETHING WE MEASURE.
IT IS SOMETHING WE LIVE, SHARE & GROW TOGETHER.
- Across our teams, sites and customer relationships, we look for ways to extend care beyond our products and beyond our everyday business. Sometimes that means raising funds for causes close to our hearts. Sometimes it means giving our time, planting trees, packing support parcels or helping community organisations continue their vital work.
- What makes this part of UNIGLOVES IMPACT special, is that it is driven by people.
- Colleagues take part, customers contribute and partners help turn individual actions into something bigger. Together, we can support initiatives that reflect our values, strengthen communities and create positive change where it is needed.
> Protection has always been at the heart of what we do, and for us, keeping people safe goes beyond gloves.

PAYROLL GIVING & SELECTED DONATION ACTIVITIES
- Giving is one of the ways our teams turn care into action. Through Payroll Giving and selected fundraising activities, colleagues can support causes that matter to them and contribute to positive impact beyond everyday business. These initiatives provide simple, accessible ways for people to get involved and make a difference together.
- One example was a team sweepstake linked to the 2026 World Cup, which raised £585 for Demelza and €241 for Brustkrebs e. V. Activities like this bring people together around a shared purpose and demonstrate how collective action can create meaningful value for community partners.
- For us, charitable giving is not only about the amount raised. It is about creating opportunities for people to participate, connect and support causes that reflect who we are as a business and the values we share.
> Every contribution matters, and together those contributions can make a lasting difference.

PAID VOLUNTEERING DAYS & HANDS-ON COMMUNITY SUPPORT
- Community support also means giving time. Last year, our teams used 102 paid volunteering days to contribute to community initiatives and partner organisations. These days give colleagues the opportunity to step outside their usual roles and make a direct difference to causes that matter.
- Many volunteering days are spent with organisations such as Demelza, where colleagues can learn more about the vital work being done and provide practical assistance. Others are dedicated to environmental action, including tree-planting initiatives with Aktion Baum.
- For us, volunteering is a powerful part of IMPACT because it makes responsibility personal. It gives people the opportunity to get involved, deepen their understanding of the communities and causes we work with, and experience the difference their time and effort can make.
> By giving time, skills and energy, our colleagues help turn good intentions into meaningful action.

SUPPORTING CAUSES CLOSE TO OUR TEAMS, CUSTOMERS & COMMUNITIES
- Strong community impact grows through strong partnerships. We support organisations and initiatives that reflect our values and connect us with the people, communities and causes around us. These include partners such as Demelza, Breast Cancer Now, Brustkrebs e. V., Humedica and local sports clubs.
- One important example is our annual Pink October campaign. Each October, we support breast cancer charities by donating €0.25 or £0.20 from every box sold of selected Pink and Magenta Pearl gloves and Fancy Rose products. In 2025, this initiative raised €15,000 for Brustkrebs e. V. and £6,000 for Breast Cancer Now.
- In 2025, our support also extended to hands-on volunteering in our warehouse. Together, our team packed 300 Christmas parcels as part of Humedica's Christmas parcel campaign, helping provide practical support to those in need.
> For us, these partnerships are about more than donations. They create meaningful connections between our products, our people and the communities we support, turning shared values into positive action.

REFORESTATION, CLIMATE ACTION & VISIBLE CUSTOMER CONTRIBUTION
- Some partnerships allow us to create impact together with our customers. Through partnerships with organisations such as Aktion Baum and Ecologi, we connect everyday business activity with practical environmental action. These initiatives enable customers to become part of our IMPACT journey and support measurable outcomes through their purchasing decisions.
- Through our partnership with Aktion Baum, we fund the planting of one tree for every 1,000 boxes of gloves sold in Germany. In 2025, this resulted in a donation of €20,845, enabling 4,169 trees to be planted. In addition, 2,433 trees have been planted since 2023 through our UK partnership with Ecologi.
- Together, these initiatives transform customer orders into direct support for reforestation and climate action. To make this impact visible, we provide tree donation certificates showing the number of trees contributed through customer purchases, wherever possible in digital format.
- For us, this is an important part of shared responsibility. It gives customers a simple and tangible way to contribute to positive environmental action while supporting a more sustainable way of doing business together.
> Because impact becomes stronger when more people are part of it.

PLASTIC RECOVERY, COMMUNITY INCOME AND SOCIAL IMPACT
- Some partnerships show that impact can start with something as simple as giving waste a new value.
- Through our partnership with Plastic Bank, we support a model that helps collect plastic before it reaches the ocean while creating income opportunities for collection communities. Since May 2023, this has helped remove 200,000 plastic bottle equivalents from ocean-bound plastic streams.
- What makes this partnership powerful is the combination of environmental and social impact. Plastic Bank helps build recycling ecosystems in coastal communities, where collected plastic can be exchanged for income and social benefits. In this way, plastic recovery becomes more than waste reduction. It becomes a way to support people, strengthen communities and keep valuable material in circulation.
- For UNIGLOVES, this reflects the kind of impact partnership we believe in: practical, traceable and connected to real-world outcomes. It also gives us and our customers a clearer way to share positive action, through visible contribution and credible impact communication.
> Because when responsibility is built into business relationships, impact can travel further.

STAKHOLDER APPROACH
STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS
STAKEHOLDER VALUE STARTS WITH VALUING STAKEHOLDERS.
IMPACT BECOMES STRONGER WHEN PEOPLE FEEL HEARD, SUPPORTED AND ABLE TO TAKE PART.
- Across UNIGLOVES IMPACT, stakeholder relationships connect the people and organisations that surround our business: colleagues, communities, customers, suppliers and partners. Each relationship shapes how responsibility is experienced, from the way we support people at work to how we listen, communicate, collaborate and build trust across our wider value chain.
- That is why our stakeholder approach is practical as well as purposeful. We create opportunities for employee participation, development and wellbeing. We engage with communities through local initiatives, charitable giving, volunteering and selected partnerships. We are embedding ethical marketing principles to promote honest, useful and responsible communication. We are also enhancing customer feedback processes so that we can gather, understand and respond to insights more effectively, while continuing to invest in high-quality customer service that delivers positive, reliable and consistent experiences.
- With suppliers and business partners, the same principle applies. Clear standards, shared expectations and open collaboration help strengthen responsible sourcing and build relationships that support continuous improvement over time.
- Together, these actions help turn stakeholder value into something people can genuinely experience: clearer information, better conversations, stronger trust and greater confidence in working with UNIGLOVES.
- Because enabling others is not only about inviting people into our IMPACT journey. It is about creating the conditions for better decisions, stronger relationships and positive outcomes that extend beyond our own organisation.
